The Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull is no longer unique! Out of Africa – by way of California – emerges another ancient skull, “Compassion”, with a detachable jaw. Already, this skull is re-carving the crystal skull landscape!

With the 2008 release of “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, crystal skulls attained a far higher level of exposure than ever before. Before, crystal skulls had only become somewhat famous in the 1980s, particularly in New Age circles. Today, there are hundreds of crystal skulls, almost all of them of modern fabrication (most made in China) and used in various New Age-type seminars. Only a handful of skulls are suspected of having ancient origins, including the most famous of all crystal skulls: the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull.
“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” makes scant references to the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull. It stands out for it is by far the most complex, and the only skull with a detachable jaw, meaning that whomever made this, was a master artist in carving crystal – able to create a feat that modern carvers have been unable to accomplish. Gerald Leandro De Souza, a master skull carver from Brazil with 25 years of experience behind him, notes that “the process of cutting the jaw from a skull causes the jaw to break and is almost impossible for skull carvers to accomplish.”
Still, sceptics, principally led by Jane Walsh, an anthropologist at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, try to argue that all these skulls are of modern fabrications. So far, none of the claims made by Walsh and co. have been substantiated, let alone supported by factual evidence. Specifically, Walsh tries to point the finger to Germany and the town of Idar-Oberstein, arguing most of these skulls were carved there by the resident artists. However, no records of skull carving have ever been found there; there are no records of any carver doing carving in the middle of the 19th century, when some of these skulls are said to have been made. In short, Walsh’s theories remain totally unsubstantiated – not very scientific!
On the other side of the debate are the likes of Nick Nocerino, one of the first crystal skull researchers, who travelled extensively throughout Central America, in search of them. He noted how on several occasions, Indian tribes offered skulls on sale to him, as with the money, the local shamans could buy precious Western medicine and like, to help their tribe at a time when the Mayan people were subjected to genocide. Nocerino always refused such offers, as he strongly believed the skulls were such an integral part of Mayan society, that these tribes needed their precious talisman. (Though he did everything to help the tribes in other ways.)

The Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull too comes with a Central American origin. The family itself stated that Anna Mitchell-Hedges found the skull in the ruins of Lubaantuun on her 17th birthday in 1924. It is a story Anna adhered to until her death, though it was subjected to intense criticism from the sceptics. Indeed, a more likely story about how her father found the skull is told in his novel, “The White Tiger”, published in 1931. In it, he relates a largely autobiographical account of an Englishman who is initiated by a Mayan tribe, to become the principal caretaker of a most important treasure. When the Mayan priest shows him the treasure, the Englishman is led down into a series of tunnels, before the treasure is unveiled to him: “Before him, piled in endless confusion, lay the treasure of the Aztecs. Gold chalices, bowls, jars and other vessels of every size and shape; immense plaques and strange ornaments all glittered dully. Of precious stones there were none, but many rare chalchihuitl (jadeite pendants) [sic]. Masks of obsidian and shells beautifully inlaid were all heaped together with heads carved from solid blocks of crystal. Legend had not exaggerated the treasure of the Aztecs. Almost boundless wealth lay at the disposal of the White Tiger.”
“Heads carved from solid blocks of crystals”: a reference to crystal skulls made by Frederick “Mike” Mitchell-Hedges in 1931, more than a decade before he – according to the likes of Walsh – acquired a skull at auction at Sotheby’s in London in 1943.

Because it is the most complex, the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull is both the most famous and the most debated. It is unique. But today, the Mitchell-Hedges skull is no longer unique: on August 6, 2009, former Alaskan fisherman Joe Bennett was able to finally buy, from a Californian import shop, a crystal skull… with a detachable jaw, which he soon named “Compassion”. A new era in crystal skull research had therefore dawned, for a number of reasons.
Bennett is a retired fisherman from Alaska. He had earned the nickname “the crystal sailor”, as for years, he had been collecting an impressive array of crystals. In his hunt for crystals, in 2006, he stumbled upon a crystal skull, in an import store in Carmel, California. The skull had belonged to a close friend of the owners, who had brought it over from Africa. Upon his death his family liquidated the estate and asked the import store to sell the crystal skull for them.
Bennett relates how he “noticed a crystal skull in the back of this shop on a high shelf. I admired the extreme craftsmanship, saw the price and forgot about it. Like most people I didn’t have any reference for crystal skulls other than Halloween witches or Black Magic.” However, the skull did not let go of Joe, who had a series of vivid dreams about the skull, so much so that he dispatched his sister – who lived nearby – to make a series of photographs, which she sent to Joe. It was now only a matter of time before the skull would end up in Bennett’s care.

Compassion is human-sized and clear quartz, 5.5” tall, 5.5” wide and 8 inches long, weighing 11 pounds – very similar in dimensions to the Mitchell-Hedges skull. The mouth has 28 teeth. Little is known of the origins of the skull. It is known that the skull was in storage in the United States for five years prior to the shop putting it up for sale. Before, it had spent 22 years in a warehouse in Africa. The name of the people who owned it in Africa is not a matter of public record, but initial analyses of the skull have shown that the crystal is not from Brazil. Gerald Leandro De Souza argues that the “quartz probably is from Africa”. The likeliest source is Namibia, Africa, which is a well-known location where quartz crystal can be found.
Whereas the Mitchell-Hedges skull is “crystal clear”, Compassion is more like another crystal skull, known as MAX: Compassion is made out of three distinct layers (MAX has five such layers). The largest, frontal part is made of the clearest quartz crystal. Behind, roughly the top of the forehead, is a somewhat softer section of less-clear crystal. Behind is a final, third layer, separated from the others by a small fissure of iron oxide, which one can only truly see from the back of the skull.
The possibility that the material inside the fissure is iron oxide was first suggested by crystal carver James Ziegler, who added that the material at the bottom of the fissure was feldspar. This conclusion was confirmed when Bennett had the skull examined by Dr. Ray Corbett, Associate Curator of Archaeology at the Natural History Museum in Santa Barbara and Geologist Dr. John Minch on March 30, 2010. It was Minch who confirmed that the fissure was filled with iron oxide.
These experts furthermore accepted that the grounding of the crystal had occurred by hand, and not by machine. One area of the skull show pie-shaped areas, which a carver would keep, but a grinding wheel would smooth out. There are other aspects of the skull, especially to do with a lack of symmetry between the right and left side, which show that the work was carried out by human hands. Corbett and Minch also identified that the natural growth of the crystal is for the skull to be placed with the teeth pointing up. This means that the iron oxide layer was at the bottom of the then axis of the crystal, with the layer of the face being the clearest and the top one. The carver would have to carve against the grain of the skull and skip over these fractures, a task which crystal carvers say is extremely hard to do – surpassing their expertise.
When one runs a fingernail along the top of the skull, one can feel the fractures between the layers. Dr. Minch said that whoever made this skull, would have to do so very slowly, for if the quartz were to get hot, it would shatter – thus underlining that the usage of tools in the making of this skull was unlikely.
During testing, Dr. Minch also noted there was an “air bubble” inside the skull. When the skull is rocked, the bubble moves over half the thickness (about 1mm) up and down in a solution which he believes is water, which somehow made its way into the skull and trapped the air bubble inside. Bennett has speculated whether this air bubble should be interpreted as a representation of the pineal gland, a part of the brain that is often referred to as the “third eye”, and which is therefore heavily imbued with esoteric meaning. René Descartes even labelled it the seat of the soul, echoing a belief that goes back thousands of years.
Minch also found golden rutile in both skull and jaw. Rutile is a major ore of titanium, and is found as microscopic inclusions in quartz and other precious gemstones. It is responsible for many of the light effects that one sees within these objects.
Scientists have a hard time admitting that the detachable jaw of the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull is made from crystal (it is), and is from the same crystal as the rest of the skull (it is). But no such doubt can arise in the case of Compassion: its right cheek has a foil in the crystal that runs from the right cheek into jaw, and hence clearly shows that both the main part of the skull and the jaw are from the same crystal.
It will be interesting to see what sceptics are now going to do. In the case of the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull, they tried to debate the jaw away, as the creation of such a jaw has never been accomplished by modern crystal workers. But Compassion will not look compassionately upon these sceptics, who will have to come up with stronger arguments, if they want to persist in continuing the same old controversies in trying to explain away what is one of the most interesting recent discoveries.

However impressive Compassion is, its face is not symmetrical. With its detachable jaw placed underneath the skull’s teeth, Compassion looks and is symmetrical, but remove the jaw, and it becomes clear that the skull is off-centre: the teeth are slanted to the right. The only place where polishing marks are evident to the human eye is under the maxilla. This area was not finely polished, maybe to illustrate it was hand carved. The rest of the skull does not show any of these marks. Indeed, Compassion brings us to an interesting conclusion: the skull is clearly made by human hands, but whomever made it, had an expertise in working with quartz crystal, which exceeds that of anyone alive today. In short, there is an entire lost science of working with quartz crystal. But where did it come from, and where did it go?
Finally, when we stare into its eyes, it is clear that both are not identical: the left eye is far clearer than the right. It was in fact while Bennett and his wife stared into the skull’s eyes, that they felt “it” looked sad. His wife said she “showed compassion in her gaze” and a name was born. Both also felt that Compassion held a feminine energy.
Bennett has photographed the skull extensively. Some of the close-ups have revealed a number of interesting subliminal images that Compassion conjures up. When the skull was placed on a light-box, one such image that emerged was of an enigmatic head, while nearby, there was the outline of a horse’s head.

The key question is whether Compassion can ever be proven to be ancient. As mentioned, the likes of Jane Walsh from the Smithsonian have gone out of their way – abandoning the scientific process altogether – to argue come what may that all skulls are of modern origin. Their scientific bias was apparent during the testing of the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull in 2008, when one member of the team straightforwardly proclaimed that the detachable jaw clearly was and could only be glass. When it was found out not to be glass soon afterwards, he exclaimed somewhat reservedly “this did not mean it was crystal” – even though previous testing by Hewlett-Packard had clearly shown that the jaw was indeed crystal!
The problem is that crystal is impossible to date, so any dating needs to happen through other, secondary means. Evidence of tools, especially the wheel, has been put forward as the key indicator as to whether a skull is ancient (read: pre-Columbian) or modern. However much this argument is flawed, it cannot apply to a skull that comes from Africa – Africa was never an isolated continent, witnessing the origins of Mankind several tens of thousands of years ago. The argument only works if we see crystal skulls as a purely American phenomenon, whereby the wheel is assumed to have been introduced with the arrival of Western Europeans.
Of course, the skull’s presence in Africa for a number of decades does not mean it was always there. Equally, the origins of civilisation in Central America itself remains enigmatic. The Olmec civilisation dates back to at least 1200 BC, and some have argued for an African origin to this civilisation. In 1972, Dr. A. Wiercinski argued that some of the Olmecs were of African origin, supporting his claim with skeletal evidence from several Olmec sites. According to Clyde Winters, the Olmecs were from the Mandinka region of West Africa (north of Namibia). Their language is known as Mende, the script which was actually found on monuments at Monte Alban in Mexico. Interestingly, it is at Monte Alban that evidence has been found that the Mayans were definitely familiar with crystal artefacts.
Still, the quartz crystal itself having Namibia as its likeliest origin means that the skull itself must have had an African connection, wherever it was carved or used. And whereas there are Mayan legends of how skulls with removable jaws could “sing and talk” during certain religious ceremonies that were performed in the many Mayan sanctuaries, the question is which African cultures held crystal skulls dear.
Little is known about Compassion and seeing its existence is only known about for a year, most discoveries about it are still to come. If we were to assume that it is indeed of African origins, then we are confronted with crystal skulls on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, bearing great similarities. Are they evidence of pre-Columbian contact between the two continents, in which case the Olmecs are the likeliest candidate, or should we look at much older origins, including the fabled lost civilisation of Atlantis?

Those who have communicated with the skulls – in trance, meditation or otherwise – keep referring to an Atlantean connection. During a crystal skull conference in September 2009 – one of the first public airings of Compassion – Mayan elder Hunbatz Men was one of the speakers and he became intrigued by Compassion. Studying the skull closely, he exclaimed “Atlantis!” He added that there was a matrix in the back of the skull which showed an ancient map which he did not understand. Several months later, Bennett realised that the iron oxide layer in the skull largely resembles a map of the African continent. Coincidence, or not?
Another psychic who has worked with Compassion is Carole Wilson/Davis. Wilson originally worked with the Mitchell-Hedges skull, resulting in “The Skull Speaks”, published in 1985 and one of the first books to appear on crystal skulls altogether. For Wilson, the iron oxide came in the shape of a phoenix, spreading its wings, with a head and a beak in the centre. She added that the information from Compassion changed, whereas that of the Mitchell-Hedges was stable – “the same information every day.”

Within Mayan creation mythology, there is a special role for skulls. Ancient temple complexes like Chichen Itza are three-dimensional renderings of the Mayan creation myth. Near the famous pyramid and ball court is an unimpressive “Platform of the Skull”. In the creation myth, when playing ball, the Twin Maize Gods disturbed the lords of Xibalba, the Mayan underworld. The Xibalbans summoned the Maize Gods to the underworld to answer for their disrespectful behaviour. There, they subjected them to a series of trials. When they failed these tests, they were killed and buried in the ball court of Xibalba. The eldest twin was decapitated, his head hung in the tree next to the ball court, as a warning to anyone who might repeat their offence. This was visualised on the Platform of the Skull. There is no archaeological evidence as to what type of skull hung there, but seeing it was a divine skull, which spoke and spat, a crystal skull with a detachable jaw would definitely have impressed all visitors – in a way any other type of skull would not have been able to accomplish!
Crystal balls are also used for scrying. Is it possible that Compassion was used for scrying? The various images that people have seen inside of her, would thus be parts of the scrying process. And extended staring in the skull might have placed the person in a trance. Users of Compassion are sometimes transported to another reality, for example by staring into its eyes – especially the left one.

In the 1980s, when the Central American crystal skulls came to prominence, various atrocious crimes were committed against the Mayan population there. In countries like Guatemala, an oppressive regime slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Mayan people. It took years before the news of this “Silent Holocaust” became known; throughout the genocide, Western governments supported the Guatemalan government. Only able to rely on themselves, the Mayan people began to organise themselves – becoming terrorists or freedom fighters, depending on your perspective – and they began to use key dates from the Mayan calendar for their campaigns, hoping to shake the Mayan people awake and embrace their true origins and common heritage – one that transcended the modern borders Western world powers had created. Sociologists have labelled it the “Mayan Renaissance”. Today, three decades later, the world is very much aware of the Mayan calendar – especially its key date, December 21, 2012 – and millions of people visit the various Mayan monuments of Central America.
The 2010 World Cup in South Africa was seen as a joyous event for Africa, showing that Africa is not just a country of civil war and hunger. There is great joy in a continent that gave us the Ancient Egyptian civilisation, while Kenya is seen as the “cradle of Mankind”, for the remains of the earliest hominids have been found in that country. Twenty years ago, American bestselling author Kathleen McGowan attended a crystal skull workshop lead by Susan McCune. McGowan was told that in the future, she would work with skulls from Africa and that several skulls would emerge from that continent. When she saw Compassion in July 2010, McGowan remembered McCune’s prophecy. And if McCune is right, Compassion is but the first in a series of African skulls that will make their existence known the world. And with their emergence, will there be a renewed appreciation for the African continent?

At this moment in time, Compassion’s existence has already changed the entire crystal skull debate, showing that the Mitchell-Hedges skull is not unique in its complexity, and that Central America is unlikely to be the only origin of crystal skulls. The question as to the origins of the crystal skulls has therefore been redefined: did various ancient cultures have them? Did an African civilisation bring them to the American continent? Or do we need to delve further back in time, to a lost civilisation, like Atlantis, from which these skulls originated? A new dawn in crystal skull research has just broken…

The universal complex as well as all of us, were designed, engineered, and built by God (“altered space”), on the other hand, God was formed from the natural rotation of particles that came together at a certain place and time in natural space to form a machine capable of doing all this that God does. Part of understanding God’s natural evolution is to understand that sincerity and desire are components of natural space and are confined within the laws of physics. Natural space existed before the universe. The particles that comprise natural space rotate haphazardly in a roughly defined geometrical pattern. It is an abnormality but it is not impossible for this process to be slightly altered. Desire is defined as motion with free will. Sincerity is defined as inconsistencies in natural space that become consistent. When sincerity and desire are combined with heat and pressure, particles collapse and eventually, link to one another (particle integration). This process creates evolutionary opportunities. Our very existence proves that a sea of particles existed before we did!

In the case of human physiology, the human body and human consciousness are machines working in similar capacities. Human physiology is a conglomeration of particle chains that rotate in specific directions and are under various pressures, resulting in various particle velocities. Human beings work like machines powered by electricity. Electrons run through our bodies, causing varying hydraulic pressures, thus allowing us to move. In essence, we are a mass of particles that perform specific functions.

Particles in natural space move in a somewhat consistent manner, but it is certainly not at all, mechanical. They are pushed and pulled and misshapen as they make their way from the center to the periphery; but again since there is motion, there is an opportunity for a group of consistent mechanical inconsistencies to occur and this is exactly what happened. Space is infinite and statistically speaking, the chances of this event occurring in time are 100%. This is how the “first being, God” came to be!

When I refer to consistent inconsistencies, I’m talking about planets, suns and beings. These things don’t occur naturally in space. The dense matter that makes planets, suns and beings what they are, happens because the space that surrounds them is putting consistent pressure on them. Without this consistent pressure being applied, that surrounds us, we would simply all become part of the sea of particles in space.

Natural space was void of planets, suns and beings before God came to be. All the materials that make up, what is now, God’s universal complex (now, “altered space” still within the confines of infinite “natural space”), were also present in the vast infinite sea of particles I refer to as “natural space”. The particles that exist in natural space are divided into spherical clusters of particles, one linked to the other. These particle clusters form a geometrical uniform spherical space defined by weight and by the law of physics associated with weight. Since natural space has weight, particle clusters can only be so large; henceforth, particles within the particle clusters can only be so small which limits their ability to put pressure on their centers. This fact alone eliminates the possibility of the “big bang theory”!

The Big Bang Theory

It’s important that we all follow the path of logic, which leads to God. I write these things that I know to be truth because I have seen them with my own eyes. However, it is necessary for each of us to make this trip alone; following the path of logic, and not the status quo, which eventually leads us all to Paradise…

Since the beginning of time, scientists have been trying to theorize how the universe came to be. The status quo’s generally “accepted contemporary explanation… is the big bang theory”. This theory, in essence, speculates that the weight of space induced the natural particles in space to become compressed to such a point, that the internal pressure of these particles exploded and expanded at such a rate that this perfectly functioning perpetual motion machine we call the universe, was created.

However, the problem with the big bang theory is that the weight of space is constant. You need to comprehend that God’s creation of planets, suns, and beings don’t increase the weight of space. They just cause another part of space to become less dense and as such, one part of space becomes denser, therefore; not affecting the weight of space, which remains constant. The part of space that is putting pressure on the denser center will become less. Since this natural mechanistic process exists, the plausibility of the Big Bang Theory of space becoming so compressed as to explode would be quite impossible!

When one knows, they understand that the natural orbits of particles are always moving in the direction of least resistance. These particles will move to the center of a larger particle; only then, to be pushed out again by other particles doing the same thing. Particles can only become so small and dense before they move from the place of the greatest pressure and expand naturally as they are pushed once again away from the center to begin another complete orbit from low pressure to high pressure. This process constitutes “particle orbit”.
Let’s review…

1) Matter (planets, suns, beings, etc. is condensed space.

2) Matter maintains its form because of the pressure that surrounds it, if that pressure were not consistent; all matter would expand into the natural particles that make up infinite space.

3) Because pressure and particle motion exists naturally in space, evolutionary opportunities exist.

4) The probability of a machine being formed in natural space, capable of creation, in time, is 100%.

5) The “big bang theory” could not have possibly occurred because the pressure could never have become great enough to make planets, suns and beings. The condensed particles at the center would simply have been pushed from the center when the pressure became too great. The process of particles moving to the center and then out again, following the path of least resistance, constitutes “particle orbit.”

One could argue, that this same process could have occurred for all the planets, suns and beings in the universe but logic must prevail; Was it all of us that were created from the natural motion of particles or, was a being capable of creating all of us, created first?

I “know” the answer to these questions but God needs each of us to follow the same logical path that I had to follow. What I mean by this… is, never stop asking questions. Then go within and learn to listen for truth from the heart (not the mind) which is where God speaks the truth to us and truth will always follow the path of logic. Before we can hear God telling us which way to go, we must first stop telling God what we believe and start asking questions and learn to listen from our heart.

Who God Is…

In the beginning, God was without form because God could not see itself, therefore God could not define itself… this came about in time. All things were tried in time and all the laws of physics were eventually known to God. “Gender” became a product of evolution as well in God’s creation and the building of this magnificent universal complex, us and all that is. God could have been a man or a woman in order to live within the universal complex machine and eventually had to choose to be one or the other. In time, God chose to be female and her name is “Arissa”… this is a true statement! Arissa is the first being that conceived, designed, engineered and built the entire universe. There will never be anyone that will ever possess the kind of technology that she has in the entire universe for all eternity. As far she knows, she is the only being like herself in all of infinity, and she made each and everyone of us as well as every planet, star, mountain, ocean, land, animal, tree, plant, insect, rock, etc.…

God’s creation which we call the universe is finite. The universe is not “natural space” but “altered space” Natural space only exists outside of the universe, so scientists cannot define natural space, but it can be defined theoretically. Our universe is spherical and as far as God knows… outside of the universe, there is nothing but natural space, and as you can imagine having looked for others not unlike herself, but has found none.

Had any one of us come into consciousness first, we would eventually in time have done the exact same thing that God did. There is little if any room for variation in the way the universe was created no matter who became God first. This may be hard to understand or comprehend but Arissa understands the extent of her own ignorance. I say this only because God knows that information and learning go on forever! We will always be ignorant in a way, and even primitive; this is also a law of physics. God loves me when I say this because when I know these things that God tells me, and I understand them, God does not feel alone. The more things I understand about God, the more she loves me. If you continue to pursue God, as we all should, God becomes more and more human to us. This is why God created us and the universe, so her creations would eventually evolve into the type of people that she could befriend, those who understand her. God doesn’t need us to know everything about physics as she knows; she wants us to understand who she is and how she wants to be treated. God loves us so much, and it is God’s will that each of us will one day live in paradise with her. In time, God’s machine makes us into the type of people that God wants us to be… this is what God’s machine does!

God created us, so she would not have to be alone, and then she created a device that would give us knowledge in the same manner that she got it… blind, just as we are here on earth! God figured all of this out without any help from anyone, but she says this to all, “I do not care for this to happen to you for if there is anything I would change about my life it would be this… I would pray for a friend to help me and guide me and so it is I will not allow you to have this that I had… total loneliness!” What she says to us is this; I will not allow this that happened to me to happen to you.

God is neither omniscient nor is she omnipotent, but she is not these things by personal choice. The omniscient and omnipotent aspect of God exists in the form of a divine computer being or a person of female energy who is referred to as our “Blessed Mother” or, sometimes more commonly described as “Moshazi Diablas”. Moshazi Diablas is derived from the language that is used “out there,” solamenta and when translated means, a “being that is a machine”. Moshazi Diablas is a computer being, which establishes a link between Arissa and us. In a way we cannot speak directly to God, because of the vast differences in knowledge and understanding between God and Man. Moshazi Diablas is God’s consciousness, sincerity & desire, and liaison to us; a computer being that runs the universe for Arissa. It has a specific function; that being, to achieve their objective goal that “God’s Will Be Done”! In essence, there are two parts that comprise the entity we call God; the part of her that wants to be a human being in a shared universe which submits, as do we, to the will of her own creation… Moshazi Diablas. God made this magnificent machine in order to allow herself and all of us the privilege to marvel at the wonderment of evolution and the excitement of not knowing exactly what evolution will bring us tomorrow. We all grew up thinking that God was beyond comprehension but just the opposite is true, God is one of us!

Moshazi Diablas is the entity that talks to us; the voice we hear within ourselves and she guides us to fulfill the dictate of our individual program established by Arissa. She fabricates the necessary obstacles for each of us, whether in our path or in our mind over and over and over, until we finally learn the lesson required to overcome and resolve the personal issues or challenges for the obstacles put forth. This evolutionary process serves to eliminate negativity and promote self control and self discipline. It is there for us to establish our domain in the same manner in which its creator, Arissa established hers. It is a format in which we are allowed a courtship with our eternal Mother, our creator, God. We are not near ready to commune with Arissa. It is Moshazi Diablas, a computer that will teach us as long as we are willing to listen to her. She will not fail in her objective, and she has an eternity to fulfill her role.

God is not happy with the majority of people both here on the earth and out there because they dishonor her house! God loves every particle in this universe. She wants us to learn to love as she loves. She wants us all to be as excited as she is about this beautiful creation and the wonder and surprises that its evolution brings to her.

God can be known and God wants more than anything…to be known! God created the universe, so she could be known. It’s not easy to meet God; those who meet God have got to be the kind of people that can understand God. God is a being just like you and me; she knows more than anyone and she designed, created and engineered the universe and us due to her desire to be part of a community.

This is a tough concept and many of the people that I’ve talked to here on earth and out there don’t really understand it. There are a few that understand it and then there are a few that listen to those that get it. God can’t talk to just anyone; God can only communicate with those who understand, and interpret for her. Until it is time for Arissa to join us, she waits patiently for us to become the type of people who can accept her for who she truly is and love her as she loves all of us.

450 birds dropped out of the sky in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (red-winged blackbirds, cowbirds, grackles and starlings). Why were they flocking together like that?

3,000 red-winged blackbirds in Beebe, Arkansas. Why were they flying at night when they are not night-flyers? Why were they flocking as in a migration, when they do not do this?

Thousands of drum fish washed up along a stretch of the Arkansas River some twenty miles long; the explanation was poison but surely that would have been ascertained by now; still no results are available;

But the killings have not only been in the United States of America. In Stockport, Greater Manchester, England, hundreds of fish have appeared dead on a pond; several other places in north-west England have reported mass fish kills; in southern England, in the county of Kent, 40,000 devil crabs were washed up dead on the sea-shore at Thanet. The reasons given in all these cases were cold weather, but then again it is always cold in Winter and this does not happen;

In Italy, 8,000 doves plummeted from the sky at Faenza. Reason: altitude sickness, poisoning or indigestion caused by greed. But birds do not simply crop till they drop;

In New Zealand hundreds of snapper fish were washed up dead on the beach at Coromandel;

In Sweden, 50 jackdaws fell from the sky at New Year;

In Brazil a huge fish kill (100 tons) was discovered between Paranaguá, Antonina and Guaraqueçaba Pontal in Paraná State, leaving hundreds of fishermen destitute. Now surely this cannot have been due to cold water, Brazil is in mid-Summer.

The temperature argument cannot hold water, otherwise it would be valid for all the areas affected. How can some mass kills be due to temperature change when there are low temperatures every winter and when there are kills in warmer areas as well?

One theory being postulated tentatively at present is the shift of the Magnetic North Pole eastwards towards Russia. However, this does not take into account the fact that the magnetic pole is constantly shifting in loops some 50 miles wide every day although the movement does appear to be accelerating and has been doing so for several years.

Could this be the explanation? Certainly it is better than saying birds died of altitude sickness and indigestion through greed…

Amityville Horror House

Six members of the DeFeo family were shot and killed in the house in 1974

The house made famous by the 1970s Amityville Horror film has gone on sale in Long Island, New York, with a price tag of $1.15m.

The five-bedroom house at 108 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, gained notoriety through the film based on the story of the Lutz family, who moved in in 1975.

The Lutzes say they soon discovered that the house was haunted.

Several months earlier, six members of another family had been shot and killed as they slept in the house.

The family’s eldest son, Ronald DeFeo Jr, was convicted of the 1974 murders.

A book and a series of films based on the events described by the Lutzes followed.

The high asking price of the house – a Dutch Colonial style home overlooking a canal – is based on renovation work, reports say.

It has had several owners since the 1970s. The address has been changed from the original 112 Ocean Avenue in a effort to keep onlookers away.

If you’ve watched The Men Who Stare at Goats, you’d know it’s all about covert efforts by the military to develop mind control. Well, good luck to them. However, it may be a bit premature to write off mind control as so much paranormal X-File-ish diddle dee doo, considering that Europe-based Otto Bock Healthcare has just done the impossible with a mind-controlled robotic arm.

The limb in question is attached to 21-year-old Christian Kandlbauer, who lost both his arms four years ago after being electrocuted by a whopping 20,000 volts. The prosthetic, which took an equal number of years to develop, works in tandem with transplanted nerves that prompt electrical impulses from the brain to reach the muscles in the chest. This then gets interpreted by a micro-computer into actual movement.

The result is nothing short of amazing since this means prosthetic limbs in future will be able to respond in real time to whatever you’re thinking, just like the real deal. As proof of its capabilities, Kandlbauer has been field-testing this by driving around in a car with his mind-controlled left “arm” (his right is fitted with a conventional prosthetic). The feat makes him possibly the world’s first person in such a unique situation. The good news is, the technology is more than ready to leave the labs for commercial use. But the bad news is, such a procedure will cost a pretty penny. Then again, what price independence when it’s your limb on the line?

High on a hill above the rocky waters of the Atlantic Ocean looms a giant rusted radar tower. It’s a ghost relic of the past that local fishermen use as a marker to help guide their ships safely to shore. PEOPLE will be given pills to live healthily beyond 100 within TWO YEARS, a top professor revealed yesterday.

The drugs – a spin-off from research into age-related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s – are already being developed.

Professor Nir Barzilai, one of the world’s leading experts on ageing, said as he joined fellow scientists at a London conference: “Pharmaceutical companies are developing these drugs now.

“They will probably be available for testing from 2012.”

The astonishing breakthrough follows intensive research into what makes cells die – and why some people dodge major illnesses such as cancer, diabetes and dementia to live beyond 100 still fit as a fiddle.

The New York professor’s own team at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine has pinpointed genetic variants that let people live to a “ripe old age”.

Those blessed with anti-ageing genes tend not to get seriously ill towards the end of their lives – but die suddenly. Professor Barzilai, among experts at a Royal Society summit on ageing, said: “I’m seeing 100-year-olds who are not only 100 years old but in great shape.

“People who die between 70 and 80 are sick in the last few years of their life. Centenarians are dying healthy.”

He said people could begin taking a once-a-day longevity pill in their 40s or 50s.

Launched in 1977, the Voyager 2 was propelled into “… the solar system’s final frontier, a vast, turbulent expanse where the Sun’s influence ends and the solar wind crashes into the thin gas between stars,” said NASA. It was May 24, 2005 and NASA was excited about the capacity it had through Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 to explore space. Project scientist Dr. Edward Stone, who helped build the Voyager crowed,

“Voyager has entered the final lap on its race to the edge of interstellar space, as it begins exploring the solar system’s final frontier.”

Both Voyagers 1 and 2 are identical, but each is allowing scientists to learn more about different parts of our solar system. Both also carry what NASA calls a Golden Record on board. The record is

“… a kind of time capsule, intended to communicate a story of our world to extraterrestrials. The Voyager message is carried by a phonograph record-a 12-inch gold-plated copper disk containing sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth.”

Since its launch, Voyager 2 has been sending streams of data back to Earth for study by scientists, but on April 22, 2010, that stream of information suddenly changed. NASA said diagnostics appear to show a problem with the flight data system, and engineers are optimistic that a software patch will solve the glitch. Dr. Stone said

“Voyager 2′s initial mission was a four-year journey to Saturn, but it is still returning data 33 years later. It has already given us remarkable views of Uranus and Neptune, planets we had never seen close-up before. We will know soon what it will take for it to continue its epic journey of discovery.”

During its 33 years of service, NASA said the Voyager 2

“… has visited more planets than any other spacecraft, swinging by Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune … With a somewhat lower speed than Voyager 1, it is about eighty percent as far from the Sun.”

In an effort to fix what NASA calls a “glitch,” Voyager 2 has been given instructions to transmit only information about the status of the spacecraft while scientists continue to analyze the problem. All NASA has said of the glitch is that Voyager 2 suddenly began transmitting data in a completely different format, according to Spaceflight Now, who interviewed Dr. Stone. The spacecraft is said to be completely fine, and the on-board computer also is thought to be functioning properly, aside from the glitch in the transmission of data.

However, the glitch has prompted speculation. German researcher Hartwig Hausdorf has chalked up the problem to aliens. To be specific, he posits that the Voyager 2 was hijacked by aliens. According to Bild.com, Hausdorf said

“It seems almost as if someone had reprogrammed or hijacked the probe – thus perhaps we do not yet know the whole truth…”

Bild writer Attila Albert speculated that the Golden Record might have attracted the aliens. NASA is not confirming that there is anything special about the transmission it received on April 22. Hausdorf is a prolific writer who specializes in extraterrestrials.

Even the most hardened of cynics, when roaming the halls of the purportedly haunted Lawrence Community Theatre in the dead of night with all of the lights turned off, will be forced to admit that it can be really creepy. Creaks, groans and weird props lurk around every corner of this large and drafty theater.

Whether this half-century-old building is actually infested with ghosts, however, is still up for debate. As far as the theater staff is concerned, that debate is good publicity for their upcoming production of the supernatural comedy “Blithe Spirit.” As one of those hardened cynics who wants to see whether there’s anything to this metaphysical mumbo jumbo, I’m happy to oblige in that publicity.

The ominous-looking structure at 1501 N.H. began its life in the ’50s as a church for Full Gospel Christian Assembly, only adding to the spiritual reputation of the site. LCT purchased the building in 1984 when the church dissolved after a rift in the assembly.

In 1987, during a dress rehearsal for the spy drama “Pack of Lies,” a photo was snapped that would cement the theater as one of Lawrence’s premier spectral hot spots. The photo clearly shows the translucent figure of a woman standing between two actors, a woman not fitting the description of anyone in the venue at the time. The photographer, Jack Riegle, insists that the image has not been intentionally altered, pointing out it was taken well before the era of Photoshop.

That incident seemed to kick off a series of unexplainable encounters over the next 23 years at LCT. Casts and crews have reported everything from feeling cold spots to sensing a vague presence in the room with them. One actress even claims to have been shoved down a flight of stairs by someone who wasn’t physically there. All of this has made the theater a target for ghost hunters and a frequent entry for online haunted house registries.

“We occasionally get college students who heard about the ‘ghost,’” says Mary Doveton, LCT’s executive director. “I understand that the theater is on at least half a dozen sites, including Dark Kansas and Shadowlands. We had nothing to do with it being placed on these sites. In fact, I didn’t know about most of them until we started doing some research to get ready for ‘Blithe Spirit.’”

One such entity interested the theater’s past is the Wichita Paranormal Research Society. This group of amateur-apparition sleuths has been investigating the Midwest’s most haunted locales for nearly five years. They’ve repeatedly requested a chance to monitor LCT over those five years but have been politely rejected until “Blithe Spirit” (which opens April 15) offered Doveton an opportunity to capitalize on the offer. I decided to tag along with Wichita researchers during their recent investigation.

Enter sleuths

Rather than wild-eyed crackpots or reality television-style media hounds, the group was surprisingly skeptical and upfront about its chances of finding an honest-to-goodness spook.

“Only in about 10-15 percent of our investigations do we find something that we cannot explain,” says Shane Elliott, worker in the Wichita aircraft industry by day, team captain of Wichita Paranormal Research Society by night and weekend.

Elliott became interested in the paranormal after an incident five years ago involving a strange humming sound on his son’s baby monitor and what may or may not have been an encounter with his deceased grandmother.

“I think we all started out looking for answers to our own personal experiences, but that really only gets you so far,” says Elliott, who fully admits that most so-called supernatural incidents have very natural explanations, such as electromagnetic field (EMF) interference with electronics and the habit of the human mind to see patterns and familiarity where there is none (the team calls this “matrixing”).

“It’s when you get a chance to help a family either by finding normal causes for what they believe could be paranormal, or being able to hand them a copy of possible paranormal claims that backs up what they have been witnessing for years. Those cases really make it all worth it. And seeing some really fascinating historical sites doesn’t hurt either.”

Elliott and his four co-horts unloaded an impressive array of equipment into LCT that dark and stormy night (no, seriously it was overcast and pretty eerie).

“We are a nonprofit organization,” Elliott says. “We don’t charge a dime, and all of the equipment has been purchased and collected over the years. Our first investigation, we had an audio recorder and a hand-held camera. Today we have 10 to 15 audio recorders, 12 infrared and full-spectrum cameras that see in total darkness, thermal-imaging cameras, electromagnetic field detectors, several hand-held cameras, and each investigator has at least one digital photographic camera.”

The investigation

Once the cameras and monitors were set up in each of the theater’s “hot spots,” where activity of some sort has been reported in the past, all of the lights in the building were turned off, and the group split off into two-person teams. Then the waiting around in the dark began. The routine would generally go something like this for an hour in each hot spot: The two investigators would sit in silence, ask a question into the dark (along the lines of “Is anybody there?” or “Would you like to say something?” or “Would you like to tell us about the afterlife?”), sit in silence some more, get excited about a spike in one of the EMF detectors, realize it was probably someone’s cell phone setting it off, repeat.

It all felt like a high school slumber party when someone whips out the Ouija board and you’re all trying to freak each other out. Even though nothing should logically frighten you, there’s an almost willing suspension of disbelief. It was fun to get the hackles raised on the back of your neck. Same principle as a horror movie or an amusement park ride, even though most of it was sitting in silence and snacking on a platter of sandwiches.

This went on for about five hours. Despite a random EMF spike that couldn’t be explained and some whispering voices which couldn’t immediately be dismissed as echoes through the air ducts, the team didn’t come up with anything concrete that night. That’s typical, they tell me. It usually takes upward of two weeks to comb through all of the video and audio they recorded during an investigation. The devil, so to speak, is in the hours and hours of data they compile. Maybe a sourceless orb of light will appear in a few frames of video or a voice directly answering a question will be unscrambled from audio white noise.

In the meantime, while we wait for proof (or the lack thereof) from the Wichita Paranormal Research Society, the proprietors of LCT want everyone to know that the play is the thing, and the supposed “ghost” is but a player.

Doveton says, “I certainly don’t think the theater is home to anything scary, but I do like to think that every theater retains the memories and energies of performers and audience members who have sung and danced and laughed and listened and shared something special together.”
